#BeYourDream Applications now OPEN for 2018
ABOUT
#BeYourDream campaign seeks to offer an opportunity to disadvantaged matriculants who have limited resources to submit their applications for admissions to Universities and to potential sponsors/ funders for 2019 on time.
Our primary focus is to tackle the main challenge that hinders pupils not to apply on time or not to apply at all for Admission in Universities by assisting them and submit their applications on their behalf to 4 different Universities per learner in South Africa and also forward the funding application to 4 different potential sponsors. Education is the foundation of open societies. It lays the groundwork for the future of people’s lives and the societies they live in. It is a fundamental human right and essential for everyone to benefit from it, not having resources should not be the stumbling block for learners from poor backgrounds not to access higher education institutions. This program seeks to make the right to education meaningful by fighting inequality in education caused by lack of infrastructure and lack of resources to poor students that reproduce education exclusion. CHALLENGES FACED BY MATRICULANTS FROM DISADVANTAGED AREAS
• No access to computers with internet
• Not having internet compatible phones to apply online
• No/ limited career guidance in their schools
• Few/ no academics in their areas, so no role models
• No hope to get to Universities because of financial situation at home hence they don’t apply for admission in Universities/ Colleges
VISION
To prepare students to make informed decisions regarding their future by providing comprehensive information about career choices, assist them to apply online and also give them the emotional support they need by advising and guiding them when needs be.
MISSION
• To bring hope and restore faith into disadvantage matriculants and to the society at large about education.
• To supports and empower students to be active participants in the career development process and knowledge seeking.
• To see everyone on the #BeYourDream program being admitted in a Higher learning institution and getting funding • Give career guidance to the beneficiaries of #BeYourDream WHO MUST APPLY

Online application assistance
• Submit admission application in 4 different Higher Education learning institutions for each learner
• Submit funding applications in 4 different sponsors for each learner
• Track application statuses and update learners regularly
• Scan and print documents for learners when needed
What is expected of learners participating in the programme?
• Comply and participate fully by performing academically and attend all invitations to Open days • Submit all the required necessary documents • All learners are required to attend the workshops when invited
• Show respect to people facilitating workshops and other learners
